The Muppet’s fan base has spanned timezones, age, gender, and political affiliations since 1955. It would be difficult to find someone today who doesn’t melt at the thought of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, or Elmo at least a little. It’s safe to make this generalization simply because of how long The Muppets have been a presence in “children’s” pop culture. From Sesame Street in the early 70’s, to The Muppet Show, and all the way up through 2014’s Muppet’s Most Wanted, these friendly and hilarious creatures have made comeback after comeback.
All that being said, we felt pretty confident it would be possible to compile a list of “Muppet Moments” that would compliment every basic human emotion (to be honest, we added a few emotions on there, just because there is no such thing as “too much” Muppet). We dug around for this list, and we tried our best to sample from as many era’s as we could. Let us know what you think!
